"There's No Place Like Northridge"

"There's No Place Like Northridge"

This piece is on linen, in a floating frame and measures 19 1/2"x25 1/2". This was created based on the rich history of Northridge. I was one of the selected artist for the revitalization thru art. They will soon be re-named Northridge Villiage. The 11 artists selected will have their art lasered onto large murals and hung around Northridge. My painiting details Dorothy from Oz with a backpack, and Cal State University Northridge Students about to take the yellow brick road into Northridge. They will see the stars and places of the past and how that past affects today.
